The DVST 1624 has a 16 channel video and you can search with the jog shuttle it is easier than pressing a button. The DVST 1624 has a JPEG 2000 CODEC. Compare to the other standalone product line, it has better recording frame rate. In addition, by using JPEG2000 CODEC, it gives you a crystal clear picture quality and takes less space in HDD.
